Nigeria: "Muslim herdsmen" murder four Christians, including two small children

... from Jihad Watch and Morning Star News

Gotta watch out for those "herdsmen." "Two Small Children Among Four Christians Slain in Plateau State, Nigeria; 'Muslim Herdsmen' Likely Killers," from Morning Star News, November 15:

JOS, NIGERIA – Gunmen who killed four family members in their home in Plateau state this month, including 2-year-old and 4-year-old boys, were likely Muslim herdsmen, church leaders said.

In Rantis village, 70 kilometers (43 miles) south of Jos, the suspected ethnic Fulani Muslims launched a guerilla attack on a home at about 7 p.m. on Nov. 4 (not the wee hours of Nov. 5 as Nigerian newspapers reported), pastors said. Killed were Joel Pam, 50; his wife, Jemimah Pam, 40; and two of their children, 2-year-old Jephtah and 4-year-old Joseph, said the Rev. Dacholom Datiri of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN).

"These attacks are on the increase as they are being carried out against our church members almost on a daily basis, and the security personnel seem helpless in checking them," Datiri told Morning Star News.

The victims belonged to Datiri's church. The couple's two surviving children, 10-year-old Susannah and 15-year-old Alfa, were wounded in the attack. Both of them are receiving treatment at Jos University Teaching Hospital, he said.

Capt. Salisu Mustapha of the Nigerian Army, and a spokesman for the Special Task Force created to help prevent such attacks, confirmed the raid.

"Yes, we received a distress call from that community and we sent out security personnel there to contain the situation," Mustapha said.

The assault on Rantis village took place after a similar attack occurred in Gyel village, near Jos, on Nov. 2, when Muslim Fulani gunmen carried out a night-long attack on Christians, though no lives were lost, sources said.

Davou Pam, pastor of the local COCIN congregation in the area, told Morning Star News that the assailants were Muslim Fulani herdsmen.

"They [Christian villagers] sent distress calls to me that night pleading that we inform security agencies about their plight," said Pastor Pam of the COCIN congregation in Gura Dabwam, two kilometers from Gyel. "We thank God that some vigilantes were able to rush there to assist the members of the community, and so no life was lost in the attack."

Christians believe Islamic extremist groups have increasingly incited Fulani Muslims to attack them in Plateau state as well as in Kaduna, Bauchi, Nasarawa and Benue states. They fear that Fulani herdsmen, with backing from Islamic extremist groups, want to take over the predominantly Christian areas in order to acquire land for grazing, stockpile arms and expand Islamic territory....

Syria: The New Road to Damascus

- article from VOM newsletter ...

From Infidels to Bible People

The war in Syria is one of the greatest crises seen in the Middle East in the last 20 years. It has claimed the lives of more than 100,000 people, both Muslim and Christian. More than 2 million Syrians have fled to neighboring countries. In the midst of this crisis, our persecuted family is boldly reaching out. And the reactions of Muslims have been astonishing.

“When you hear about one Muslim coming to Christ, it’s a great thing, and everybody rejoices,” said a VOM Syrian contact. “Today in Syria I’m not talking about one person. We’re talking about hundreds and even thousands of Muslims coming to know Christ.”

Teams of believers are working in the refugee camps, providing Christ’s love while sharing material aid, such as medical supplies and Bibles, as well as spiritual aid. Christians, widely considered “infidels” in Syria, are now often and affectionately referred to as “the Bible People.”
“This war is like a knife in the heart of the church. No human can stand that suffering. But there is God’s presence. I can see Christ in the midst of darkness.”
Please pray for Christians who face not only the horrific effects of war but also continued persecution. Please also pray for those who are bravely using this opportunity to advance the kingdom.
“God is doing miracles inside the country,” a Christian worker told VOM. “But even if he allows us to die, it will be an honor for us to die for his name, to glorify his name.”
The opportunities for ministry in Syria today exceed what we thought possible. Working with the Syrian church and local workers, VOM continues to distribute material aid, Bibles and Christian literature, and support for pastors and the evangelistic teams. VOM will continually seek ways to increase our efforts.
During this time of crisis and opportunity, VOM
invites you to make a special contribution to support this ministry in Syria.

Nashville Coptic Christians protest against Muslim Brotherhood: "Obama, Obama, don’t you care? Christian blood is everywhere"

How odd that Bob Smietana, a "journalist" who is usually reliably biased in favor of Islamic supremacists, didn't call the rallygoers "racist, bigoted Islamophobes."

"200 Coptic Christians rally in Nashville, call for peace in Egypt," by Bob Smietana for The Tennessean, August 19:
More than 200 Coptic Christians demonstrated in downtown Nashville, calling for an end to the violence in Egypt.
Many chanted “Obama, Obama, don’t you care? Christian blood is everywhere,” and “Pray for Egypt” while waiving Egyptian flags.
Others, like Anour Fares, held homemade signs with messages like “We are against Muslim Brotherhood.”
Amany Shahata, who has lived in the United States for 16 years, said she feared for Christians living in Egypt, whose churches had been burned down in recent days. She and other protesters blamed the Muslim Brotherhood.
“What is terrorism, but being afraid to go out of your house because someone will attack you,” she said. “... We can build churches anywhere but in our own country.”
At one point demonstrators lined both sides of First Avenue and called out slogans as cars went by. They shouted “eid wahda,” an Egyptian phrase that translates as “one hand,” meaning that the Egyptian people, both Christians and Muslims, were united with the army against terrorism, which they blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood.
Abram Thabet said that he hopes the Obama administration will stand by the Egyptian government. He said that he fled Cairo two years ago with his family because he feared persecution.
“The Christians in Egypt are paying a very high price,” he said. “I couldn’t keep my children safe.”...

Ramadan Observance in the Philippines: 6 dead, 48 wounded as Muslims Bomb Restaurant

So much again, for the "Religion of Peace"!  Some folks compare modern day Islam with the European Crusades and it's violence.  The reality is that the two subjects are worlds apart.  While you regularly hear Christians condemn atrocities, from among their own, you never hear this from Muslims concerning the evil called Islam.

From Agence France Presse, July 28 (thanks to Maxwell), via Jihad Watch:
CAGAYAN DE ORO, Philippines: Six people were killed and as many as 48 wounded in the Philippines when a bomb struck a restaurant filled with doctors after a national convention, police said Saturday. Police said the improvised explosive device went off around midnight at a popular restaurant in the southern port city of Cagayan de Oro.
Most of the victims were doctors and pharmaceutical salesmen who had just attended a national convention of lung-disease specialists at a nearby hotel, said the city police chief Graciano Mijares.
“This is one of the busiest areas of Cagayan de Oro.... somebody left a bomb on a chair at the bistro,” he told reporters.
He declined to speculate on the motive for the bombing, saying an investigation was under way.
Cagayan de Oro is located on the main southern island of Mindanao, which has been blighted by a decades-old rebellion by anti-state elements.
That is, Islamic jihadists.
Witnesses at the scene described horrific scenes, with the top of the head of one victim blown off and the torso of another hanging limply on a chair as police sifted through the debris for evidence....

The Religion of Peace Murders More

France: Muslim screaming "Allahu akbar" slashes rabbi's throat; authorities searching for motive . . .

Here's your motive, geniuses: Muhammad said that “the last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him” (Sahih Muslim 6985).

But the elites have already decided that the motive for such things can't possibly be found in Islamic texts and teachings, which are completely and utterly benign, and so they have to find the cause elsewhere. We see the same thing happening with the Boston jihad bombings.
"Escapee from psychiatric hospital slashes rabbi, son with box-cutter outside Paris synagogue," from the Associated Press, April 23 (thanks to Ali):

Boston jihadi's family was on welfare while he went to Russia in 2012 -- who paid for his trip?

This is more indication that the Tsarnaev jihad brothers did not act alone. Who paid for the six-month trip to Russia? And why did Massachusetts authorities not consider it odd that the wife had to be on welfare while husband had the money for six months in Russia?

As for the welfare itself, as believers in the Qur'an, it is likely that they thought this money was their due. The Infidels should pay the Muslims, as per this verse: "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." -- Qur'an 9:29
We recently saw that a jihad-martyrdom suicide bomber lived off Swedish student aid. And as British jihadist Anjem Choudary just said: "The normal situation is to take money from the kuffar. You work, give us the money, Allahu akbar."

Ten of the 15 worst violators of religious freedom are Muslim countries

How odd that so many Muslim countries would misunderstand Islam's teachings of tolerance! Could it have to do with the Qur'an's command to make the "People of the Book" "pay the jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" (9:29)?
"US report names ‘worst’ violators of religious freedom," from the Free Speech Blog, May 2:
An arm of the US government named 15 nations as the “worst violators of religious freedom”.
The Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), an independent advisory body created by the International Religious Freedom Act to monitor religious freedom abuses internationally, released its 2013 report, which idenitifes “governments that are the most egregious violators.”
The 15 countries are Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Vietnam, all of which severely restrict independent religious activity and harass individuals and groups for religious activity or beliefs. These nations are classified as Tier 1 “countries of particular concern” (CPCs) in the report.
Despite its recent opening and political reforms, change in Burma have “yet to significantly improve the situation for freedom of religion and belief.” The report states that most violations occurred against minority Christian and Muslim adherents. China’s government is also cited for its ongoing severe abuses against its citizens’ freedom of thought.

Muslim Cleric Expresses His Hate of Christians

This video illustrates why Islam should NEVER be considered a valid religion (in comparison to Judaism and Christianity). This is not to say their aren't good people within Islam, because their are. But, in the same way the worship of Vishnu, for example, is exceedingly different than the worship of Yehovah', the worship of Allah differs as well.

If you don't see the translation captions, run you mouse over the video and click "CC" for closed captions and select the language (it's usually English).

Islam is a "false religion" of hate, pure and simple. It has NOTHING to do with God. Read more about this recently released prisoner from Egypt. He is actually explaining official Muslim doctrine!

A Tool of Satan

Matthew, Chapter 7 illustrates to us how a tree can be determined by the fruit it bears. The "fruit" of our "works" show Yehovah', His Angels, and the entire world what we truly believe. This fruit can be bad or good. If bad, it can be something which awakens us as to our shortcomings and thus presents an opportunity for repentance and redemption, or, it can further our decent into evil. I have found a few examples. What kind of fruit is this religion producing?:

Headline: 160 Houses and 2 Churches Burnt in Lahore

Lahore (AsiaNews) - The Supreme Court of Pakistan accused the Punjab police of sheltering the criminals involved in the arson attack on the Christian Joseph Colony of Lahore, on last 9th march. At least 160 houses, 18 shops and two churches, one catholic and one Seventh day Adventist, were burnt.

Jihad Watch: Libyan Jihadis Shave Beard of Christian Priest, Attack Church Again

More details concerning the recent spate of attacks on Christian Copts in Libya—including two church attacks and the mass arrest and torture of Christians, resulting in the death of one—are emerging. Apparently during the assault on the Coptic church in Benghazi from two weeks ago, the terrorists severely beat and shaved the beard and mustache of Father Paul, the priest of the church, as a sign of humiliation. They also beat the deacon and nine attendees.

... what about "America's fruit?

Jihad Watch: Raymond Ibrahim: Muslim Cleric Calls U.S. Aid to Egypt ‘Jizya’

... Europe's fruit?

Jihad Watch: Sharia in action in the mainstream media: Muslim gang-rapes across Europe underreported in press

Folks, we are entering a time where each individual will have to choose if he is on the side of God, or the side of Satan. Whether you believe in God or not doesn't matter. Their will be only two kinds of people left in the world.

The Persecution is Rising - Pray!

BURMESE ARMY ATTACKS CHRISTIANS:

Last month the Burmese military launched a new offensive against the mainly Christian Kachin, an ethnic group in northern Burma. The assault included several days of shelling followed by an aerial attack. It is not clear how many people were killed or wounded.

PRISONER ALERT REMINDER: Haile Nayzgi

During the early morning hours of May 23, 2004, Haile Nayzgi was arrested and taken to Police Station #1 in Asmara. He was the leader of Eritrea's Full Gospel Church, which is comprised of 120 to 150 house meeting groups. The church groups were closed by government decree at a meeting with a government official on May 15, 2003. At that time the church groups were given an application form for government registration. The Full Gospel Church filled out the form and returned it to the appropriate offices, but no reply was ever received.

Haile is married and has four children. He was previously an accountant with World Evangelical Alliance. During his incarceration, Haile has been refused any personal contact with his family. When family and friends went to take food and clothing to the prison for Haile on August 24, 2004, they were told that he was no longer there. Mr.Nayzgi has been moved to various locations since his arrest, but the actual charges against him have not been released.

After Haile went to prison, his wife and children decided to flee Eritrea. His wife is in Kharthoum, but his children were only able to reach a border town between Sudan and Eritrea. Because of fear of human traffickers, they have not been able to travel to Khartoum.

PRISONER ALERT REMINDER: Alimujiang Yimiti

In September 2007 Chinese government officials closed Alimujiang Yimiti's business and accused him of using it as a cover up for "preaching Christianity among people of Uyghur ethnicity." He was later arrested in January 2008 and accused of "subversion of the national government and endangering national security," a crime punishable by death.
Alimujiang, a former Muslim, became a Christian more than 10 years ago and has been an active Christian in the growing Uyghur church.

On May 27, Alimujiang's case went to trial. His case was referred back to the Chinese Public Security Bureau's prosecutors due to "insufficient evidence." He remains in custody.

Folks, V.O.M. has literally thousands of these fact sheets, cases that have been developing for years. While we sit in our quiet little world, people are suffering around the globe. Please do what you can help. Get involved in some way. V.O.M. is a worthwhile organization. They are helping people.

Thanks.

Pray For Israel and For All Our Jewish Friends

As the world gets more Socialist, anti-semitism will rise. Socialism and it's very ugly twin sister Communism, fosters such horrible behaviour. After all, Yeshua (Jesus) advocates self-responsibility, not placing responsibility for one's life in the hands of another.

From Nimrod through all the bad guys in history to the U.N and E.U.: one-world government, one-world religion, and one-world economics are the satanic means by which the one true God is reduced and Satan flourishes!

How many of you proud Socialists in Europe are even aware of this?

Copenhagen, Denmark has a very real problem, as this article from FRONTPAGEMAG illustrates:

Jan. 7, 2013 - Bruce Bawer:

I wrote about it here recently: Israel’s ambassador to Denmark and the head of Copenhagen’s Jewish community have both warned Jews in that city that if they don’t want to be roughed up on the street by anti-Semites, they’d better not wear anything that would identify them as Jews – and, for good measure, they should also lower their voices when speaking Hebrew. The other day, in a supremely depressing article for Israel National News, Giulio Meotti provided a round-up of similar developments from around Europe.

For instance: a Jewish theological seminary in Potsdam has asked its rabbis not to wear yarmulkes in public. Pupils at a Jewish school in Berlin have been warned to speak German, not Hebrew, on school trips – and to wear baseball caps over their yarmulkes “so you don’t give stupid people something to get annoyed about.” Jews at Rome’s main synagogue now remove their yarmulkes when leaving services; so do Jews in Malmö, Sweden. A Jewish teacher at an adult education center in Kristiansand, Norway, has been told “that wearing the star could be deemed a provocation towards the many Muslim students at the school.” And so on.

The reason for all this cautious behavior, of course, is to avoid the fate of people like the Paris Metro passenger who, Meotti noted, was recently beaten unconscious by a mob who pegged him as Jewish because he was reading a book by Paris’s chief rabbi.

Even Meotti’s laundry list didn’t come close to covering the full range of despicable anti-Semitic outrages, and reactions thereto, that have occurred in Western Europe of late. One example: in early December, it was reported that in the wake of episodes at Edinburgh University in which an Israeli diplomat was “mobbed” and a speech by Israel’s ambassador was “disrupted by chanting students waving Palestinian flags,” many Jewish students, fed up with the “toxic atmosphere” (and, in some cases, scared to publicly identify as Jewish) had left for other colleges – and other countries.

Meotti is among the few journalists who have been sounding the warning for some time about the rise of Jew-hatred in Europe. The last few weeks, however, have seen a flurry of articles on the topic in relatively high-profile places. Can it be that the see-no-evil approach to this international catastrophe is finally giving way under the increasingly heavy weight of reality?

... read the entire article here.

Folks, I predict that Europe, in general, and the Scandinavian countries, in particular, will be the first to accept and adopt the ant-Christ system. America will not be far behind.

Do you really think this is a Jewish problem? No, ALL believers will go through this Tribulation! One of the worst things the "Church" has done is teach that the church has replaced Israel. This IS NOT true. Together, believing Jews and Christians ARE Israel! If you are against modern-day Israel you are literally against God!
